This policy explains how magikman.co.uk collects and uses personal information when you visit this website or get in touch about a booking.
Magikman is the trading name of David Linacre, a close-up magician based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. David Linacre is the data controller for the information described in this policy.
You can contact us at david@magikman.co.uk or on 07979 234 124.
We only collect what you choose to give us. That is normally:
If you book, we also keep records of the fee agreed, invoices and payments.
We do not ask for special category data (such as health or religious beliefs), and there is no account or login on this website.
The contact form on this site does not store anything. It simply sends your message to our email inbox, where it is kept until it is no longer needed.
We also collect limited technical information about visits to the site through analytics and advertising cookies, but only if you agree to them. See the cookies section below.

Some of these suppliers are based outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are protected by the safeguards allowed under UK data protection law, such as the UK addendum to the standard contractual clauses.
We will also disclose information if the law requires it.

Google Analytics tells us things like how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where in the country they are. It does not tell us who you are.
We also advertise on Google search results. If you accept advertising cookies, Google can tell us how many enquiries our adverts have produced. We do not use advertising cookies to follow you around other websites or to show you adverts after you leave this site.
Refusing analytics or advertising cookies will not affect your use of the site.
